Payroll

Payroll, done correctly and on time.

Your team should be paid accurately and on schedule, and the government amounts should go where they need to. We help you get it right, every pay period.

What we can help with

In plain terms: we work out what each person gets paid, what gets deducted, and what needs to be sent to the CRA.

  • Payroll calculations. Gross pay, deductions and net pay worked out correctly.
  • Payroll processing. Regular pay runs on your schedule.
  • Payroll deductions. CPP, EI and income tax withheld properly.
  • Remittances. Source deductions sent to the CRA on time.
  • T4 and T4A slips. Year-end slips prepared and filed.
  • Records of Employment (ROEs). Issued when an employee leaves or has a break in earnings.
  • Employee onboarding. Setting up new hires correctly from day one.

Common questions

What are payroll remittances?

Payroll remittances are the amounts an employer withholds from employees' pay (such as CPP, EI and income tax), plus the employer's share of CPP and EI, which are sent to the CRA by set deadlines.

What is an ROE?

A Record of Employment (ROE) is a form employers issue when an employee stops working or has a break in earnings. Service Canada uses it to decide eligibility for Employment Insurance benefits.
